“ I visited on January 2nd. I was really grateful that they were open and I was able to enjoy a delicious meal. The service from the female staff was particularly warm and memorable. It was a wonderful way to end my trip to Yamaguchi and start the New Year. ”

“ It's about a 20-minute walk from Ube-Shinkawa Station and we arrived at Beston. - Grilled Local Chicken Thigh (Large) - Rolled Local Chicken Omelet - Grilled Chicken Thigh - Seared Chicken Neck Meat - Chicken Nanban - Fried Chicken Dumplings Simmered in Miso Soup - Mapo Tofu - Daikon Radish Salad - 4 Draft Beers - 8 Highballs? The bill for four people was just under ¥17,000. The signature dish, the "Grilled Local Chicken Thigh" made with Choshu Chicken, was Miyazaki-style and delicious. The "Rolled Omelet" was also rich. Basically, nothing was a disappointment. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about chicken. They also serve lunch. ”

“ It's been a while since I last visited, since I had oyakodon in April of last year. It was delicious, so I thought I'd order the oyakodon again, but I saw that the most popular item was chicken nanban, so I ordered that for 920 yen. At the same time, I also ordered the 980 yen grilled chicken thigh, which I'd been interested in, for takeout. They said it would take about 25 minutes, so if you're in a hurry, please refrain from ordering. As for the taste of the chicken nanban, it was particularly average. The oyakodon is definitely better. I asked them to fillet the grilled chicken instead of whole, and the skin was crispy and the meat was juicy and tender! It's definitely better when it's freshly grilled - the skin gets soggy if you take it home. Next time, I'll eat it there! There are plenty of tastier dishes at izakayas at night! ”

“ This is an izakaya that serves chicken dishes, but it's open for lunch on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I've always wanted to try this restaurant, so I finally got the timing right for my first visit. I entered the restaurant at 12 o'clock, and the interior has a lovely log cabin-style atmosphere. Afterwards, people who work nearby started coming in one after another, and it quickly became nearly full. Perhaps it's because they only have limited lunch hours, but it seems to be a popular restaurant. I ordered the oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl) for ¥920, and it was served in less than 10 minutes. A raw egg yolk is placed in the center of the oyakodon. I topped it with chopped seaweed on a separate plate and crumbled the yolk, creating a delicious blend of the cooked egg and raw yolk. The seasoning was good, and the chicken filling had a rich flavor. It's truly a restaurant that specializes in chicken dishes! I sprinkled some sansho pepper, which is available on the table, on top to further enhance the flavor. The service from the chef and staff was also very pleasant. There are seven parking spaces on both sides of the alley next to the store, but three of them are only available at night. The alley is one-way, so please be careful when entering and leaving the store! ”

“ Visited again in June 2024. Today I ordered teppan yakisoba with a fried egg. It was by far the tastiest yakisoba I've had recently. The fried egg was nicely half-cooked and mixed in with the yakisoba, and because it's served on a hot plate, the slightly crispy soba noodles are mixed in towards the end, making it a meal you won't get tired of. It's slightly cheaper than the other items on the menu, so I recommend it. Visited for lunch in May 2024. There's parking for four cars just down the one-way street next to the store. Please note that this restaurant mainly caters to dinner and is only open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during the day. As you enter the store, there is a counter on the left and table seating on the right. I was shown to the counter and ordered the chicken nanban set meal. In addition to the main dish, it comes with soup, hijiki seaweed, potato salad, and cabbage slices, which is great. The meat is tender and a little light in flavor, but it's delicious with plenty of tartar sauce. I've visited this restaurant many times in the evening, and my recommendation is the charcoal-grilled chicken thigh. It's just as delicious as the authentic Miyazaki chicken. I hope they offer it on the lunch menu too. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ I enjoyed the all-you-can-drink course with friends. Since there were seven of us, we were given a private Japanese-style room. We toasted with ice-cold beer. The dishes kept coming out one after the other, just the right amount. The fresh sashimi and chicken were all delicious. And best of all, the charcoal-grilled local chicken. It was exquisite. The beer was nicely chilled and delicious, and there was no server smell, which I thought was impressive. We had a great time enjoying the various items on the all-you-can-drink menu. I'm happy to have discovered such a wonderful restaurant that I'd like to visit again, even just for a quick drink. Thank you for the meal! ”

“ I recommend the charcoal-grilled local chicken thigh, which is incredibly tender and delicious! I chose the medium size, but if you want to try other varieties, the small size is fine! The other dishes were also delicious. As for the Tori Manma, I recommend it as a final dish if you have room in your stomach. The food itself deserves a 5-star rating, but the parking lot was difficult to find and one of the four cars was a little difficult to park, so I'm giving it 4 stars. ”
